Job Announcement -Advanced Life Support Training Coordinator

As a part of the Advanced Life Support Section within the Field Programs Division, the Advanced Life Support Faculty will assist with course development, course coordination, and delivery of advanced life support continuing education to the emergency services. Coordinate all aspects of course delivery to include pre-course administration, coordinating course location and facility, recruit, mentor and evaluate part-time advanced life support instructors, scheduling instructor teaching assignments, coordination of equipment and course materials and post-course administration. Instruct advanced life support continuing education courses to emergency services providers throughout the state of Maryland. Provide input for the bi-annual needs analysis and the design and development of the Paramedic Refresher Course and other ALS curriculum. Represent the Advanced Life Support section at local and state emergency services meetings and promote the services of the Institute in assigned jurisdictions. Maintain provider and instructor credentials and seek opportunities to grow professionally.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
 
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and five years’ experience in clinical experience in emergency medical services and three years’ experience in emergency services education.
