The Fire Department Safety Officers Association (FDSOA) will hold its 2025 Annual Health and Safety Conference on January 13-17, 2024, in St. Pete’s, Florida at the Tradewinds Island Grand Resort. The conference features topics ranging from cancer support and prevention to fire station design, firefighter health and fitness, and ISO/HSO functional skills. Sessions are intended to broaden all emergency responders’ safety awareness and health and wellness knowledge.

The Maryland Fire Chiefs Association is pleased to offer scholarships to six individuals to attend the FDSOA Conference through our joint SAFER grant .  Scholarships will include reimbursement of costs for travel (to $600), hotel (up to $1400), and pre-con ($695) & main conference registration ($695) and $150 transportation expenses to and from the hotel.
